Alternatives to Violence Project (AVP) encourages participants to recognize that they can best find their own answers to the conflicts they encounter. There are three levels of AVP training: Basic, Advanced, and Training for Facilitators. All workshops last for three days and emphasize building community among participants.

AGLI has developed HROC which holds three day workshops which include 10 people from one side of a conflict together with 10 people from the other side to restore normal relationships between the two sides.
